CLARITY Act Digital Asset Classifier

Answer a few questions to get an educational estimate of how your token may classify under the pending CLARITY Act framework. This is not legal advice.

1. Does the token's value come mainly from a working, live blockchain network (it does something real), rather than from a centralized team's promises or roadmap?

2. Is there a centralized team that controls upgrades, minting, or the treasury?

3. Was the token sold via a public sale, ICO, or presale where profit expectations were marketed to buyers?

4. Is the token pegged 1:1 to a fiat currency (e.g., USD) and used to move money rather than to participate in a network?

5. Does simply holding the token pay yield/interest, separate from any staking or active work?

6. Is governance decentralized (token-holder vote, no single controlling party), rather than controlled by one entity or small group?

7. Is the underlying smart contract code public and has it been independently audited?

8. Is the network already live and actively processing real transactions today (not just planned)?

9. Are there U.S. persons among the founding team or control group?

10. Where does it currently trade?
